Enhancing food security through innovative agriculture
Groundnut:
Groundnut is an essential commodity that is of high value food chain to the population in Sierra Leone. As a company, and as part of our Project Action Plan, it is our ultimate goal to cultivate large plots of land that will influence the production of groundnut during the first phase that will span unto 2029. In the second phase which starts in 2030, the yield will be processed to groundnut paste and ready for the market.
Maize:
Maize is also an essential commodity especially as poultry farming is steadily increasing in Sierra Leone. Thus, there is a high demand for maize for poultry farmers to feed their chickens. Therefore, it provides market opportunities that are less competitive with high demand.
Rice:
As rice is the staple food of Sierra Leone, it is in high demand. Therefore, it is our goal to produce rice in large quantity in the fourth year of our operations as a company (2028). At the moment, our focus is to increase the production of groundnut and maize.
